Lisa trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts, initially as a dancer but after sustaining a back injury she transferred to the Drama course, graduating in 1993. 

Some of her roles include ‘Gloria’ in Return to the Forbidden Planet, being in the chorus of Fame-The Musical and touring as a dancer/choreographer for DJ Sacha (Ministry of Sound).  Lisa played ‘Ross’ and was also the fight choreographer for the Felis Sapiens’ production of Macbeth, has appeared on The Brian Conley Show (LWT).

She travelled the world to broaden her horizons and on returning trained to become a singing teacher with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, gaining her Music degree (First Class) in 2013. She is also a founder member of the vintage three-part harmony group The Three Chordettes (

Lisa recently appeared as a soloist in concerts for The Sudbury Symphony Orchestra and The Rowan Tree Choir, in a concert of French songs given at the Lion Walk Church in Colchester and, until recently, was a member of the Colchester Chamber Choir, under the direction of Roderick Earle, where she performed as alto soloist in Listz’s Missa Choralis. 

Further concerts with the choir included "Sacred and Profane", a celebration of St. Cecelia’s Day "Blow the Trumpet" at St. Edmundsbury Cathedral with the UK premiere of Emile Naoumoff’s Concerto Sacre.  Lisa also performed at The Harwich Festival of Arts in August of 2015, performed Elgar’s Sea Pictures and Berio’s Sequenza III in October of 2015 and facilitated a “Wicked” workshop for The Pimlott Foundation which also took place that October.

Lisa is a trained mezzo-soprano singer but is returning to her love of the music of the early swing and jazz music genres.
